Day 9

On the road again!

This Norwegian chapel was a nice walk up the street from our cabin.

Day 8

A lazy morning in our "Little Cabin in the Black Hills".

They light it!

We went back to see the lighting ceremony; amazing!

Deadwood

We struck gold!

H got the part of a card playing Captain William Massey in Wild Bill Hickok's "assassination".

Deputies were sworn in just before the gun fight.

Devils Tower

A has a "Close  Encounter" moment.

 

Day 7

The GPS says 1751 miles from home

Our farthest point west! But we're not done yet!

The Little Van on the Prairie finally found the bison! And a few (not so) wild burros, too.
